About The Sisterhood Project.

Every parent and caregiver hopes they’ll never face a childhood emergency. But if something does happen, knowing what to do can make all the difference.

The Sisterhood Project is a not-for-profit organisation helping parents and caregivers build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to care for children when it matters most.

Our education goes beyond simply learning what to do in an emergency. We cover the real situations families face, from bumps, burns and bites to choking, CPR and recognising when a child is seriously unwell. Our education is practical, hands-on and grounded in frontline healthcare experience.

We believe lifesaving education should be accessible to everybody. That’s why we work with local organisations and funding partners to bring free and accessible education to communities where cost, distance or other barriers can make attending traditional first aid education difficult. Every program is shaped around the needs of the community we’re working with.

Most importantly, our courses are a place to learn, practise and ask questions without judgement. You don’t need any previous first aid knowledge, and you don’t need to remember everything perfectly.

We’re here to help you feel more prepared, more confident and ready to act when your child needs you.

Sharing knowledge. Building confidence. Saving lives.
